Huckleberries Has Learned …

... That no charges will be filed against Julie Chadderdon re: alleged forgery involving that Kootenai County GOP Central Committee 31-30 vote seeking to disinvite Lincoln Day speaker Richard Mack. Remember? After the vote, then county chairwoman Tina Jacobson, pictured, and other executive committee leaders requested a private investigation into a challenged proxy vote filed by Chadderdon on behalf of cousin Kelly Chadderdon. The executive committee unilaterally overturned the precinct committeeman vote and re-invited Mack to speak. Moments ago, HucksOnline received letter from Latah County Prosecutor Mia Vowels to Kootenai County Prosecutor Barry McHugh. In the letter, Vowels said there was no evidence that Chadderdon intended to defraud anyone. Also, Vowels noted that Chadderdon had an open-ended permission from her cousin to submit his proxy as she wished, although he didn't sign it or give specific approval for this vote. You can read the Latah County prosecutor's letter here.
