Wild Card/Monday — 6.18.12

Coeur d'Alene Held Hostage, Day 74 (and probably the last day): Until mid-week last week, I suspected that we were moving toward a recall election -- and that we'd have under 4 1/2 months of intense nastiness in Coeur d'Alene. When disqualifications reached 20% on Wednesday, however, I knew things were going to swing around. Then, I wondered: What am I going to do on the blog when the Recall attempt ends. (Yeah, yeah, I realize that the Recall organizers will probably sue, but that's not the same thing.) After all (paraphrasing Inigo Montoya of "Princess Bride" fame), I've been in the Recall blogging business for a long time. We'll all find out, I guess, Wednesday morning. Now for your next-to-last Wild Card of the rapidly fading Recall era ...
