Ring Was Lost But Now It’s Found

Darlene King holds her late husband's long-missing wedding band at King's home in Auburn, Calif. The ring is 14-karat white gold with five diamond flecks and is inscribed with the date of King's wedding 51 years ago. Story here. (AP Photo/The Sacramento Bee, Randall Benton)

DFO: I lost my high school class ring a week after I got it. I took it off in the bathroom of a gas station in Marysville, Calif., before washing my hands. It was gone moments later when I went back to find it. I've always regretted losing that ring. How about you?

Question: Have you ever lost an important ring?
