Limbaugh Sorry For ‘Slut’ Remark

LIMBAUGH SAYS SORRY; ADVERTISERS SAY SEE YA – The conservative talk radio icon — never known for his cultural sensitivities — did something he rarely does over the weekend. In his way, Rush Limbaugh apologized for calling Sandra Fluke (shown in AP/C-Span video photo) a “prostitute” and a “slut” last week, admitting he used “insulting word choices” in describing the Georgetown Law School student. Fluke was blocked by Republicans from testifying at a House panel on the contraception mandate, before she was allowed to testify at an unofficial Democratic hearing on the subject. But the apology, posted on his website Saturday night, did not stop at least seven advertisers, by PULSE's count, from abandoning Limbaugh’s show/Politico Pulse. More here.

Question: Someone has suggested that Sandra Fluke sue Limbaugh for his unwarranted attack on her. What do you think?
