  • Noonish: A semi truck is either smoking or on fire on e/b I-90 west of NW Blvd/CdA.
  • Noonish: 10-15 juveniles reportedly smoking behind Subway shop on Seltice Way/PF.
  • 11:47 a.m. Caller reports that man siphoning gas from vehicle @ Garden & 2nd/CdA told him that he didn't want his ex-wife using his gasoline. Suspect is driving older red vehicle.
  • 11:30 a.m. Coeur d'Alene Police Department activities report for March 7-8 here.
  • 11:23 a.m. CPD officers catch wanted man in 8th & Young area with help of resident who spotted him. Woman had reported a man might be hiding under a boat on her property. Story here.
  • 11:18 a.m. (via KXLY): US Marshals have set up perimeter around Tubbs Hill.
  • 11:15 a.m. (via KXLY): Air One deployed to Kootenai County to aid in Tubbs Hill manhunt.
  • 10:57 a.m. (via KXLY): CdA Police, US Marshals involved in manhunt on Tubbs Hill. LEA advise people to stay away from Tubbs Hill.
  • 10:11 a.m. CPD officer tells fellow officer to warn females approaching Tubbs Hill alone not to hike hill as a result of wanted man on the loose.
  • 9:54 a.m. CPD officers are chasing a suspect in a tank top named Benjamin who's wanted on a federal warrant for weapons & drug violations. Male has been Tasered and now is hiding in 8th & Young/Sanders Beach/East Tubbs Hill area. Man described as 5-8, 165 pounds.
  • 9:08 a.m. White vehicle parked along I-90 on 4th of July Pass is unoccupied & disabled.
  • 9:03 a.m. Man is looking for missing brother who won't answer door on Broken Tee/Rathdrum.
  • 8:46 a.m. Angelinia reports previous tenants took appliances when they left Riverview/PF rental.
  • 8:24 a.m. Black GMC Yukon left Texaco @ 7415 Govt Way/Hayden w/o paying for gas.
