Officers In Fatal Shooting Identified

In a press release this morning, the Kootenai County Sheriff's Office has named the three officers involved in the fatal shooting of wanted Coeur d'Alene man Justin Todd, 33, this week. According to the release, Todd skidded to a stop in the yard at the end of St. Estephe court. Idaho State Police trooper Cpl. Michael Thomas Keys and two Post Falls officers Aaron Ogle and Officer Bradley Johnson got out of their cars and approached Todd’s vehicle. The report continues: "Todd backed up rapidly, and then pulled forward, striking Cpl. Keys with his car. Keys and both Post Falls officers fired at Todd, striking him multiple times. Investigators are waiting for official autopsy results before releasing any more information regarding how many times Todd was hit by gunfire, toxicology result and anything else related to the autopsy."
