High Noon: Missing Dad

On her Facebook wall, Cindy writes: A friend just asked me "17 years after his death, what do you miss most about your dad?" Wow. Everything. His voice. His smile. His thoughtfulness. The way he made me laugh. But most of all I miss his unshakeable, unwavering insistance that I could DO anything, BE anything. His confidence in me gave me courage to try new things, dream big dreams and to shrug off naysayers. Wouldn't the world be a different place, if everyone had a dad like that?

Question (for those who have lost their fathers): What do you miss most about your dad?
