Hayden To Welcome 2 Traveling Walls

The Kootenai County Veterans Council, in partnership with the City of Hayden, will welcome The Wall That Heals, a traveling replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. and the Global War on Terror Wall of Remembrance. The walls will be on display in Hayden City Park Aug. 14-18. Mayor Clay Larkin of Post Falls tells Huckleberries that  the wall is suppose to arrive at 10 next Wednesday at the Greyhound Park, be welcomed, and then be escorted by the Post Falls Police, Patriot Guard Riders and others along the way to Hayden. The opening ceremonies are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 16, at Hayden. More here.

Question: Have you ever visited the Vietnam Wall, in Washington, D.C., or its traveling version?
