CdA Trustees To Change Today

For the first time in awhile, the Coeur d'Alene School Board will be comprised of all elected trustees when the new board members are sworn in this afternoon at the district's Midtown meeting room. Christa Hazel, Dave Eubanks and Tom Hearn will replace Brent Regan, Ann Seddon and James Hightower. The new trustees represent a dramatic departure from the hardline conservative philosophy of the three appointed officials and two holdover trustees, Tom Hamilton and Terri Seymour. Hamilton is currently chairman of the trustees. But that could change this afternoon when the board reorganizes.

Question: If I was a betting man, I'd put money down on Tom Hearn becoming the new school board chairman. How about you? Who do you think will emerge as School Board chairman?
