Marmie: All Cried Out, All Hugged Out

On her Facebook wall, Marmitetoasty provides latest re: critically injured 23YO son, Sam: "Home a little earlier today, totally drained of everything....Sam still remains in a critical condition and is still on a ventilator and all the other life support malarkie stuff.. its been a real rollercoaster ride today, up down up down, its emotionally draining also sitting as other distraught families come and share our special waiting room with their own stories to tell..... Ive hugged more crying screaming relatives of other loved ones today then I thought possible...... some had no one and even through my own grief I found the strength to stand and enclose my arms around others that needed to be held....... so Im all cried out, all hugged out.... (More below)

But a week and a bit in and Sam is still alive, what were the odds of that last weekend.... he is so very heavily sedated because he has been fighting a chest infection and dangerous high temperatures for days now, but today, fingers crossed things look like they might of peeked, Im a tad scared to say that in case it jinx's things..... for days now we have been getting excited about a point 1 or 2 drop in temperature not even a whole degree....

To tired to type any more tonight....... thank you all for your continued support....... I know slowly everyone will drift back to their own settled lives and my little family and our horrendous situation will gradually fade away and people will be moaning about the weather or what take away they will be getting or what holiday they will be going on..... and I fully understand that....... but I will thank you all and be grateful to you all for taking time out of your own lives to for a little while support us and make us feel loved........ lets see what tomorrow brings........ xx
