OTV: McEuen Field Is Old News

OrangeTV: Aw. Just when ol' Danny Boy was starting to grow on me, he has to pull out the whip and beat the dead McEuen horse yet again. How many years are these people going to prattle on about something that, at this point, nobody has any control over? They can complain about the "process" all they want, but the fact remains that it is a done deal regardless, so let's talk about whatever is next. I am far more likely to consider a candidate that focuses on the possibilities of the future than the "mistakes" of the past, so if that's Mary and/or Brannon's plan, then I must emit a very large pre-yawn right now.

DFO: I agree with OTV. There is absolutely no vision coming from Souza & Co. re: future of Coeur d'Alene. All we get is: Shut down LCDC. How are you going to fund a future events center without $10 million from urban renewal. Mary & Co. don't have gravitas with community's movers and shakers to coax them into opening their wallets for an entire $20 million project. McEuen Field is a done deal, except for the ideologues. I want vision. Not same-o sour grapes.

Question: What do you want mayor/council candidates to discuss this campaign season?
