Seahawk Fans Seek Decibel Record

In this Sept. 12, 2010, file photo, Seattle Seahawks fans cheer during the final moments of the Seahawks' 31-6 win over the San Francisco 49ers in an NFL football game in Seattle. On Sunday, Seahawks fans will attempt to break the Guinness Book of World Records mark for loudest stadium, or officially "loudest crowd roar at a sports stadium," which was set in 2011 in Turkey at the Ali Sami Yen Sport Complex Turk Telekom Arena during a soccer match between Galatasaray SC and Fenerbahce. The record is 131.76 decibels. (AP Photo/Elaine Thompson, File)

Some of the loudest NFL fans in the country are attempting to become the loudest in the world. When the 49ers visit this Sunday, Seattle Seahawks fans will attempt to break the Guinness Book of World Records mark for loudest stadium, or officially "loudest crowd roar at a sports stadium," which was set in 2011 in Turkey at the Ali Sami Yen Sport Complex Turk Telekom Arena during a soccer match between Galatasaray SC and Fenerbahce. The record is 131.76 decibels/Associated Press. More here.

Question: Have you ever attended a Seattle Seahawks game when the fans were exceptionally loud?
