I mused on an interesting scenario Wednesday. What if Mary Souza won the Coeur d'Alene mayor's seat. But opposing candidates Woody McEvers, Kiki Miller and Amy Evans grabbed the other three seats? That would cause interesting times at City Hall. Mary would have substantial influence, of course, and divide the city even worse than it is now, for four years. But she wouldn't have the sure-fire backing she needed to wreak havoc on City Hall enemies, real or imagined. Councilman Ron Edinger would be the key swing vote. All of which would be wonderful for page-views on HucksOnline. But not good for city government or the future of this city. Now for today's Wild Card ...
