Acting Coeur d’Alene Parks Director Bill Greenwood on Wednesday helps post a Donor Wall sign at McEuen Park alongside Kim Stearns, executive director of the Panhandle Parks Foundation, and son Benjamin, 5. The wall will provide the opportunity for citizens to make a permanent mark on the park, while supporting citywide parks endeavors. The Panhandle Parks Foundation has made the initial payment of $25,000 to the city of Coeur d’Alene to construct the wall, with an additional $17,000 promised as donations are received. Story here.
