Brannon Files For County Clerk

County Clerk Jim Brannon has just notified Huckleberries Online that he has filed to keep his courthouse office. Here's his release:

"Today I, Jim Brannon am officially announcing my intent to retain the office of Kootenai County Clerk and stand for election in the May 20, 2014, Republican Primary.  It has been my pleasure to serve the citizens of our great county. My predecessor in the office of County Clerk, Cliff Hayes developed, trained and built a solid team of dedicated public servants who are efficient and productive in their jobs.  The Kootenai County Clerk’s office is a model for attention to detail and getting the job done right the first time.  This saves you, the taxpayer money.  I commit that this fine team of professionals will continue to look for process improvements and respond to your requests promptly.  We work for you.  The culture of good enough does not exist in our office; we strive for excellence and are accountable to you." Full release here.

Question: What do you think the odds are of County Clerk Jim Brannon keeping his job?
