1. He doesn’t appear to have a job. Liberals love to increase the size of government (Republicans do to but they’re in denial about it). This gives Larry the government assistance he needs and provides an example for all Democrats to follow.

• 2. Larry is young. The local democrats (all six of them) are pretty long in the tooth. Larry does have incredible hair and that will help with the female demographic. Good hair has been shown to be the difference between winning and losing.
• 3. Larry can raise money. The local D’s idea of a fundraiser for candidates is selling off their JFK coffee mug collection or donating the proceeds from bingo night to some never was candidate. Remember Larry drives a Mercedes with no visible income, which means he's got connections.
