I want to personally thank all our CdA School District teachers for the phenomenal work they do day in and day out for our children. I'm looking forward to celebrating our teachers tonight at the Coeur d'Alene Education Association's dinner this evening. (Psssstt ... if you can read this, you really should thank a teacher today.)"

DFO: I would thank my high school English teacher in my junior year -- Jim Rolston. Without his encouragement, I might have given up on writing. I had a dreadful freshman English teacher who was constantly dissing my work back in the day when a teacher could get away with that. Rolston lavished praise on it -- and possibly changed the direction of my life.
