After investigating a report of a man abducting and sexually assaulting a 17-year-old Hayden girl Monday night, the Kootenai County Sheriff's Office says they have not been able to validate those claims. Deputies received a call at about 10:30 pm to a home near the city of Hayden Monday night after a father went into his 17-year-old daughter's room and found that she was not there, and there appeared to be signs of a struggle. A short time later, the 17-year-old girl called 911 to report that she had been abducted from her room and sexually assaulted by an unknown man.
