Idaho has signed on to a brief with 14 other states urging the U.S. Supreme Court to uphold bans on gay marriage and leave the matter to voters and lawmakers, the AP reports. The brief, filed today, argues that the court will do "incalculable damage to our civic life" if it decides that same-sex couples must be allowed to marry everywhere in the United States/Betsy Russell, Eye on Boise.
