Huckleberries Online

From The Peanut Gallery …

After vacationing in Las Vegas, JohnA comments:

And, then it is the city itself, with 17 of the largest 20 hotels in the world. It may be 'Sin City' (and I'm sure there's plenty of that happening) but it is also a place that has been well thought out, from its infrastructure to its roads. I've noticed that most middle class neighborhoods are gated, as one might expect but they are all so NEW and well maintained. And, the same theme dominates all of them, from the homes to the stores to the churches: Southwest chic. Palm tree-lined streets and no maintenance properties are all very similar in their design and look. And, they are clean. The only downside: finding a lawn for the Big Dog to do his thing. Other than the pocket parks there is nothing but hardscapes and low-water vegetation. That's a good thing, of course, especially with Lake Mead at its lowest level since Hoover Dam was built.

Question: Any other Lost Wages fans out there who agree with JohnA's assessment of the city?
