Poll: It’s ‘Core Da Lane’

  • Monday Poll: The correct pronunciation for "Coeur d'Alene" may be the French "kur" but, overwhelmingly, Hucks Nation pronounces the Lake City's name as "Core" da Lane. 196 of 220 respondents (89.09%) use the "Core" pronunciation. Only 18 of 220 (8.18%) use the "Kur" pronunciation. 6 (2.73%) are undecided.
  • Today's Poll: Should Gov. Butch Otter follow through on threat to veto $95 million road bill because it taps into general fund money?
