4 Bicyclists Hit By Cars In July 10 

BikeCdA.com reports that four more bicyclists were hit by vehicles in July, double the amount year over year. BikeCdA.com calls for installing protected bike lanes to prevent bicyclists from riding on sidewalks and encourage them to ride with the traffic instead of against it.

Maslanka is being sought in Kootenai County on felony warrants charging her with two counts of Burglary and Failure to Appear for Grand Theft and Burglary. She has a $125,000 bond warrant. Sandpoint Shooting Officers ID'd

Authorities have named the 3 North Idaho police officers involved in last week’s confrontation with an armed Sandpoint man that ended with a sheriff’s deputy shooting and killing the man. They were identified today as Sandpoint Police Officer Jeremy Inman, and Bonner County Sheriff’s Deputies Aaron Walker and Tyler Jinright.

It’s not a statistic that parents want to hear as their kids are preparing for school: One in five women will be sexually assaulted during college, and it’s most likely to happen during their freshman or sophomore years.
