Ex-Otter lawyer cashes in on grouse 

Tom Perry, Gov. Butch Otter's former top lawyer, is cashing in as a private lawyer by representing the Legislature and the governor in their lawsuit over the sage grouse listing. Perry was paid $100,755 a year when he left the governor's office in April. He has been paid $165,400 as of November to represent state interests.

Fan laments KVNI program change 

Sunday Huckleberries kicked off with comment re: the decision by the Powers That Be in Spokane to change the programming at KVNI-AM radio from 24/7/365 sports to Top 40/'80s music after Christmas. Former Councilman Mike Kennedy doesn't like the change. One. Bit. Neither do I, for those keeping score at home.
