Abduction try reported in Post Falls

From Post Falls Police Department Facebook wall:

3rd/Greensferry -- at the School bus stop. Dispatch received 2 calls regarding this incident. A newer dark grey Dodge Ram with tinted windows bearing possible Idaho plates was observed to park in front of a group of 5 children, who were waiting for the School bus. As 1 of the Rp’s observed a male inside the truck trying to get the attention of the children, the Rp yelled at the children to come over to them which they did. The Rp stated the male in the truck sped off and left the area. The Rp spoke with one of the children, who disclosed the male never said anything, but held up a small brown and white puppy, possibly a beagle and attempted to wave them over. The child described the male to be in his late 30’s or early 40’s with dark wavy hair and wearing thick glasses. Report taken.
