‘Wayne’s World’ makes mark in Idaho

Sen. Shawn Keough of Sandpoint and Rep. Heather Scott of Blanchard are two Republican legislators who represent the same constituency in Bonner and Boundary counties in North Idaho. But you would never know it by looking at the Freedom Index, a conservative scoresheet that has become a political version of fantasy football in the Idaho Capitol. And you’d never know it by listening to their views about the Idaho Freedom Foundation, the organization that puts together the index. Not surprisingly, their views differ sharply about Wayne Hoffman (pictured), the Foundation’s executive director. Scott, in her first term, is the top-ranking legislator on the Freedom Index and has high praise for Hoffman’s organization. Keough, the new co-chair of the powerful Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee, is no fan of the IFF and ranks low on the Freedom Index/Chuck Malloy, Idaho Politics Weekly. More here.

Question: Izzit just me, or do those who rank highest in Wayne's World "Freedom Index" tend to be the worst legislators?
