Library eyes Lake City High expansion
The Coeur d'Alene School Board approved an innovative concept proposed by Coeur d'Alene Librarian to expand service to the northwest part of town by moving into the Lake City High library. The approval came last night and is a first step to the idea becoming a reality. The city's Library Board and City Council still have to sign off on the proposal, a process that could take two more months. If approved, the library will use Lake City High library facilities to provide service to the growing area around the high school. David Townsend of the Coeur d'Alene Library explains the plan in a Facebook post here.
DFO: Sounds like a superb idea to me. Thoughts?
