Jeers: Say no, take dough 

In his weekly Cheers & Jeers column, Opinion Editor Marty Trillhaase gives JEERS to ... to U.S. Sens. Mike Crapo and Jim Risch, and Congressman Raul Labrador, all R-Idaho. The three voted against the five-year, $305 billion federal transportation package -- a package that is vital to Idaho's infrastruction. The bill passed overwhelmingly.

Speaking to a powerful police union in New Hampshire Thursday, Republican frontrunner Donald Trump vowed that if elected, one of his first actions in office would be signing a particular executive order. “Anybody killing a policeman, a policewoman, a police officer, anybody killing a police officer: Death penalty is going to happen, okay?"

ISP seeks hit-and-run Athol driver 

The Idaho State Police is seeking the driver in a hit-and-run crash on Highway 54, near the Past Time Club in Athol. The victim is a young mother whose insurance will not cover the damage. The vehicle being sought is a late model crew cab Ford pickup that is two tone with dark blue on top and light blue on the bottom.
