Male torches U.S. flag on 4th St

The portion of a police report shown above tells of the vandalism to a U.S. flag that was flying outside the Cheating Death Discount Vapor store, 510 N4th St/Coeur d'Alene. The male described above ignited the flag with a cigarette lighter and walked off. A Coeur d'Alene police officer later arrested a male matching the suspect's description for DUI. But the officer was unable to decide whether the DUI suspect was the flag burner. The incident occurred between 1:40 a.m. and 2:05 a.m. Saturday morning. You can read Officer J. Schneider's narrative on the flag burning here.
