Trump: ‘Schlonged’ not vulgar

One day after saying Hillary Clinton got “schlonged” in the 2008 presidential election, Donald Trump took to Twitter to defend the term as not vulgar. Trump, the Republican presidential front-runner, wrote Tuesday night that the word means “beaten badly.” He cited a National Public Radio journalist using the term in 2011, to describe Walter Mondale’s 1984 presidential campaign getting soundly defeated/The Hill. More here.

DFO: Whether vulgar or not, "schlonged" doesn't seem to be a proper word for a presidential campaign. Thoughts?
