Edit: Idaho GOP Hijacks Lincoln

Pimping Abe Lincoln as a fundraising tool is a farcical display of historical dishonesty by Idaho Republicans. Let’s get something straight: The state GOP is anything but the party of the Great Emancipator. It’s Lincoln Day dinner season throughout the state. County GOPs are gathering for $50-per-plate dinners, silent auctions and heaps of rhetoric. Sure, linking yourself to arguably the greatest president in American history looks good on paper. Lincoln established the modern Republican Party. But, in the past few decades, the GOP has become everything Lincoln refuted, a small-tent collection of religious radicals, fringe anarchists and old school Republicans too cowardly to openly challenge the hijackers/Opinion Editor Jon Alexander, Twin Falls Times News. More here.

Question: Do you consider the Idaho Republican Party to be a "part of (Abe) Lincoln"?
