Moyle Seeks End To Daylight Saving

House Majority Leader Mike Moyle, R-Star, wants to do away with daylight saving time in Idaho. Under legislation he got introduced today in the House Ways & Means Committee, which he’s co-sponsoring with Rep. Jason Monks, R-Meridian, Idaho would no longer “fall back” an hour in the fall or “spring forward” an hour in the spring, starting July 1, 2015. However, the AP reports that Moyle wasn’t at today’s Ways & Means meeting to present his bill, leaving Rep. Brent Crane, R-Nampa, to present it for him. Asked how elimination of daylight saving time would impact Idaho’s split between two time zones – Pacific and Mountain – Crane said he didn’t know/Betsy Russell, Eye on Boise. More here.

Question: I'm more for this bill than against it. Thoughts?
