IdahoWhipple: Guilty As Charged

IdahoWhipple (RE: Author defends "Christian state"):As a World History Teacher I am guilty of several of his accusations. I do teach my students about Islam. Imagine that....teaching about one of the world's fastest growing religions and the impact it's had on our world. I do require them to know the five Pillars of Islam. After all, isn't it good to know what "drives" a particular group of people. I also share with them my experiences I had in Iraq when dealing with Iraqi people...their customs, how to interact with them, etc. I am further guilty of teaching about Christianity as well. Oh the horrible things being taught in my classroom.

Question: Do you know much about the major religions in our world?
