Security Expert To Speak In Lake City

Dr. Jack Caravelli, a senior career federal official who has been involved in critical national security issues at the highest levels, will speak regarding threats to our nation at the Coeur d’Alene Resort on Friday, Jan. 16 and Saturday, Jan. 17.  Caravelli will provide a broad perspective on the most pressing challenges to our nation today.  Topics will include nations (Russia, China), transnational threats (terrorism and the rise of Islamic-based extremism in the ME and Africa), technology (cyber attacks) and the implications for US homeland security, including threats from abroad and domestic sources. The event will take place from 1:30-4 p.m. Jan. 16 and from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Jan. 17. The two-day event will cost $45 per person. Click here to register.
