CPD Seeks Child Enticer

Coeur d’Alene police are looking for a man suspected in a child luring incident that occurred shortly before 8 p.m. Thursday at a McDonald’s restaurant. A 4-year-old girl apparently approached a transient who was going through the trash in the children’s play area of the restaurant. When she asked him what he was doing, he said he was looking for his monkey and asked for the child’s help, a news release from the police said. The man and the child then began to walk out of the play area and toward the front door. The child’s mother saw what was happening and grabbed her child, then called police/SR. More here.
