Airway Heights Staff Condemns Mayor

Today the City of Airway heights released a letter signed by 28 of the city’s 45 employees further condemning embattled Mayor Patrick Rushing. Rushing came under fire last week for comparing President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama to “monkeys” on Facebook.

I-90 Shooter Accepts Plea Deal

Marcus Rael accepted a pretrial settlement in connection with allegations that he instigated a shootout with officers on Interstate 90 last year. On Friday, the Kootenai County Prosecutor's Office presented a judge with an amended set of charges that came as the result of mediation with the Arizona native's public defender.
