Update: A 20-year-old Post Falls woman was lying when she said she found a litter of 8 puppies abandoned in a box at Corbin Park, according to a KCSO news release. Mariah F. Eutsler, 20, admitted that her story was false -- that she was trying to do a favor for a friend who was living out of his RV in Spokane.

The Weather Channel has surveyed American citizens throughout the nation to find out just how hot is too hot. Idaho (and Washington) considers 85 degrees as "too hot." Ignite CdA Backs 2nd Resort Tower 36 

The board of Ignite CdA (Lake City Development Corp) endorsed a proposal by Hagadone Hospitality to build a second hotel tower over Front Avenue and the western half of the resort shopping mall.
