How Bad Are Fireworks In Your ‘Hood?

For several years, we've had a bozo in our neighborhood who has a signature move re: annoying his -- it's always a male isn't it -- by setting off a single loud firework at 10 o'clock. Just one. He might have moved because the signature pop wasn't heard last year. In fact, last year was the best in years re: annoying fireworks launched weeks before and weeks after the 4th of July. Why am I telling you this? A Coeur d'Alene PD Facebook post prompted me to think about the long fireworks season in the hood: "Police activity in the 1800blk of east Lakeside Ave. Officers responded to a neighborhood dispute over illegal fireworks which escalated to the brandishing of a firearm. Officers arrived quickly and gained control over the scene. This issue has been resolved. The area is safe and the scene is clear once again."

Question: Do you experience a fireworks problem in your neighborhood, one in which neighbors shoot off fireworks way before and way after the 4th of July?
