Name Tubbs Hill After Scott?

Several people have mentioned today that the city of Coeur d'Alene should honor the memory of late Coeur d'Alene environmental attorney Scott Reed by naming something significant after him. Two friends mentioned that Tubbs Hill should be renamed Scott Reed Hill. Scott, after all, played a critical role in preserving Tubbs Hill for Lake City's perpetual use. And Tony Tubbs appears to be little more than an early Coeur d'Alene residents who had designs on subdividing the hill that bears his name. McEuen Park and Tubbs Hill, of course, are part of our geographic vernacular. But there are other opportunities to honor Scott Reed -- and possibly his partner in preserving North Idaho open space, Art Manley. The community could, for example, honor Scott by naming after him the new green space that's emerging from the Education Corridor to Riverstone. Or the green space that the city just purchased along the Spokane River. What do you think?

Question: Should the community find a significant green space to name after the late Scott Reed?
