Slide Show: Candlelight Vigil

Bub Lawson (hand raised), a pastor at Candlelight fellowship, prays with the crowd in the church parking lot Tuesday evening, moments after the gathering learned that Coeur d'Alene police officer Greg Moore had succumbed to the fatal gun shot wound he suffered early Tuesday morning. SReporter Scott Maben tells Huckleberries that Police Chief didn't know the candlelight vigil was taking place until he happened by after being with Officer Moore's family most of the day. In a story about the vigil, Scott provides Chief White's comments to the crowd: “This is not something we see all across the U.S.,” White told the crowd, which included city and school district employees, elected officials, officers from around the region, church leaders and many others. “I am truly grateful to be a part of this community.” (Photo: Duane Rasmussen)
