IPT Poll: Don’t Remove ‘Of Mice’

The Idaho Press Tribune of Nampa-Caldwell is conducting a poll with this question: "Should the Coeur d'Alene School Board remove 'Of Mice and Men' from classrooms?" Current results: 77.6% = No, 19.6% = No, but make it optional, and 2.8% = Yes. In a poll conducted earlier this week, more than 95% of Huckleberries Online readers said John Steinbeck's "Of Mice and Men" shouldn't be demoted to a secondary, small-group, elective list for ninth-graders.
