Nonpartisan Voting Deadlines Near

Kootenai County Clerk Jim Brannon announced two deadlines coming up next week. “Voters who want an absentee ballot mailed to them for the May 19  election need to submit their request by 5PM Wednesday, May 13”, Brannon said. Voters can click http://www.kcgov.us/elections/ to download the Absentee Ballot Request form.  The form can be returned to the Elections office by mail, fax, or email.  Kootenai County is paying the postage for mailed absentee ballots. “Voters who want to vote early in person need to visit the County Elections office by Friday, May 15,” Brannon continued.  The Elections office is at 1808 N. Third Street in Coeur d’Alene, and is open 8AM to 5PM weekdays/News Release, Kootenai County Clerk's Office. More here.
