ANesse: Wage Issue Not Dead At All

ANesse (RE: Bid to raise Coeur d'Alene minimum wage dead): This issue is NOT DEAD AT ALL. The Attorney General's Office just called me and states it is legal to proceed with request of CDA City Council for Advisory Vote on Nov. 3 for minimum wage to increase in city. The Assistant Attorney General stated only a judge can make a ruling on this type of city law, not even the Attorney General's Office can decide. Dustin Hurst represents the IFF and I have already challenged them to a controlled setting, televised debate on this subject in Coeur d'Alene and he accepted the challenge at one point. Dustin Hurst is only correct in that the initiative process cannot proceed until the winter of 2016, when it would be legal to begin initiative for another odd numbered year of Nov. election. McCall, Idaho already collected their signatures before May 1 so they can lead the process.

Question: If Coeur d'Alene runs an advisory vote to increase the minimum wage, would you support the concept?
