Kootenai County Sheriff's Office deputies recovered the body of Kimberly Sue Vezina, 27, of Spokane, from Lake Coeur d'Alene Monday afternoon. At 1:45 p.m. Monday, deputies were called to an area near Fullers Bay at the south end of Lake Coeur d’Alene to investigate a dead body found floating in the water. Sandpoint's iconic Memorial Field will be getting a makeover. A local option sales tax to raise $2.7 million for the stadium passed last week with 73 percent of the vote. The money will go toward funding new grandstands, with an additional 600 seats.
