On his Facebook page, Sheriff Mitch Alexander announces:

The Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that a collared grizzly bear was shot and killed by a hunter at the bottom of Kings Pass and Beaver Creek Road which is located approximately 6 air miles north of Osburn/ Wallace, Idaho. The Idaho Department of Fish & Game currently has it under investigation.
