Randy Stapilus and Chris Carlson dropped by Huckleberries HQ late Monday afternoon to push Chris' new book, "Eye on the Caribou: Inside the Alaska Lands Bill," and chat about politics. Stapilus, former political reporter for the Idaho Statesman, and Carlson, former press secretary for former governor Cecil Andrus, have forgotten more about Idaho politics than you and I will ever know. It was fun to hobnob about the events and people who have shaped Idaho history over the last 40 years -- and the complete mess that is Republican politics in Kootenai County.
