Sisyphus: Dave, I think this is post worthy today and I hope you consider it. Many lament that they have never seen the northern lights. Right now we're in the midst of a major solar storm which should continue into the night. You in north Idaho should get a spectacular show weather permitting. But its vitally important you drive out of light pollution of city lights and wait for your eyes to adjust. We'll probably have the best chance down in southern Idaho to see them we'll get all year.

Question: Anyone out there who has never seen the Northern Lights?
