I was entertained by the candidate debates for Coeur d'Alene City Council last night. Nothing was said that surprised me. However, I felt my impressions of the candidate were confirmed. Dan English and incumbent Ron Edinger are clearly the best picks for the two offices. Incumbent Steve Adams and newcomer Toby Schindelback are conservative hardliners who, I believe, put ideology and party loyalty before the good of the community. They might be a good fit in the northern part of the county. But not in viewtiful Coeur d'Alene. Just some thoughts. Here's today's Wild Card ...
