Wild Card/Tuesday — 10.13.15

During my noon walk with side kick Greg Lee, we saw an oldtimer catch a 22-inch pike near the bridge on the Coeur d'Alene Resort boardwalk. The man sits on a platform along the boardwalk, pipe in mouth and several poles alongside him, day after day fishing for the various fish on Lake Coeur d'Alene. Usually, he tells us that he hasn't caught anything. On Monday, he snagged the pike as Greg & I were passing. He yelled to us. We stopped on the bridge to watch him pull it in. We don't know his name. But he has become part of the scenery on our daily walks. Here's your Wild Card ...
