Nearly all the official statistics for the fiscal year ending Sept. 30 are up at the library – some pretty dramatically. Total circulation rose by 55 percent compared to the previous year. While the checkout of actual items rose by just 1 percent – 309,325 compared to 307,684 items – the use of online databases rose by a whopping 318 percent and downloads of e-books and music went up by 40 percent – 43,996 compared to 31,317 percent.
