Robber hits Quality Inn

Robbery suspect description: White male, approximately 5'10", approximately 190 pounds, blue or green eyes, wearing a green winter coat with a hood, a light colored scarf over his nose and mouth, black pants, and wearing a large white glove on his left hand

At about 10 p.m. Monday, Coeur d’Alene police officers responded to the Quality Inn, 280 W Appleway, for a robbery that had just occurred. Officers made contact at the hotel with the female clerk. The clerk stated she was working inside the hotel when the suspect made entry. The suspect walked to the front desk and demanded cash. The suspect held a knife to his side. The male left the hotel on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. A Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office K9 responded to the scene and attempted to track the suspect. At this time the incident is still under investigation.
